What’s the event?
The standard event template kinda sucks…
You turn up, there’s time put aside for ‘networking’, then 2 talks, pizza, maybe lightning talks if the planners are feeling dangerous and then that’s it.
There’s definitely learning and relationship building that can happen there but largely we didn’t think it was great and we wanted to change it.
MCR.Test focuses on making the core of the experience also the networking experience. We put together workshops with interesting topics that encourage people to collaborate and share ideas.

Who are we?
We are Ken, Steve and Alex (and Cam)
We are 3 quality assurance professionals (and a recruiter, he provides the pizza, be nice to him) who are passionate about our field.
All 3 of us are self taught and have managed to work ourselves into leadership positions in our respective organisations by being motivated to learn more and make a positive impact.
We also remember how hard it was to get into the industry and how unnecessarily difficult it was sometimes to find out what to learn.
So we got together to try to change that with MCR.Test.
